Bilco Basement Access Doors Notes / Items:
Two options exist
for basement access opening. Note the following conditions; however:
1. Present units
and foundation systems are in extreme disrepair. Foundations will
require replacement and rebuilding. Existing doors (enclosures) are
unsalvageable. Present unit sizes are 3’-10” wide by 5’-0” long (clear
finish opening). It has 7 wooden steps, which are also damaged and
unsafe.
