Consultants Recommendations: Based on the information as herein enclosed, the meetings / interviews and the Building / Site Locations Comparison Summary it is the recommendation of SD Atelier – Architecture and its sub-consultants to select the Ferry Street site design location. During the development of the Comparison Summary our intent was to examine all the information objectively from a building design, site design, costs and to determine a location / design which would provide the maximum benefit for the four (4) user groups. Throughout the course of these past seven months many issues, opinions and items were reviewed, heard and analyzed. Ultimately the potential benefit is not only to the Town of Saratoga – but to the Villages of Schuylerville and Victory. This location is consistent with proper Planning and Urban Design guidelines for new / renovation Civic construction. This we believe will be validated when grants and funding sources are solicited and awarded for this location / project from Federal and State funding sources which also respect the same principals.
